Battle in Buffalo! Buffalo has 2 great young goaltenders in Levi and Luukkonen! After UPL’s great season last year, and Levi’s shaky start, how do you see the battle for starter shaking out this year?

Ideally, neither is starting more than 50ish games.

It means the workload is balanced during the season to keep them fresh and it means the backup is playing well enough where they aren’t afraid to start him either.

The starting position is UPL’s to lose, I suspect that Levi will spend most of season in Rochester, and Riemer will be “the back-up”. Levi will likely get a good look on n NHL when possible, or if injuries happen.
I’d say an ideal mix would be 40-50 games for UPL, 15-20 each for Levi and Reimer.

6K should get at least half the starts IMO.

UPL is the starter and got paid. There is no battle unless he sucks for a long stretch. Definitely > 50 games for UPL barring injury.
