Steve Largent is one of the greatest receivers of all time. However, his best moment wasn’t a catch, but a hit he made on a defender. The hit is considered one of the greatest revenge moments the NFL has ever seen considering the guy he laid out… had cheap-shotted him earlier that season.

  1. I’ve been doing a lot of longer videos so I decided to drop a shorter one. What do you guys think?

Also, I have one more video coming before the end of the year.

    Merry Christmas y’all!

  2. Growing up in CA, early Seahawk O were the best. Zorn to Largent passes were our favorite on the football field during PE.

  3. Haha mike harden you are famous for being shook up by a skinny white wide out who ended your career early . What a sissy

  5. I remember when both hits happen. Harden's shot on Largent would have got him thrown out of the game today. Largent's was a clean tackle.

  6. The only reason Largents name rarely comes up anymore is because he was a seahawk for his career. I believe had he played on a more well-known team like the Raiders or the 49ers then he would be brought up much more often when talking about some of the greatest NFL players of the 80s.

  7. Largent was a savage! Once asked by an official what what he do if he lost both eyes? He never flinched and calmly said; I will become an official!! Freaking awesome!! Instead, he became a senator!!

  8. Steve Largent has the best quote on refs of all time imo! He played the game so hard that he lost sight out of one of his eyes! A ref said to him; if you lose sight I’m the other eye, what will you do? Steve replied; that’s simple, I will become a ref! Gangsta!!!

  9. Harden was a cheap shot prick nobody in the NFL. He stands over Largent a top 10 receiver and hall of famer, as if he did something great.

  10. Seeing Largent get his opportunity to dish out Harden's just deserts, made me light up a cigarette!

  11. Mike harden get wrecked what a dirty player Steve's tackle was so clean honestly I wish he returned the broken teeth to Harden, but that's Steve.

  12. I was watching both games live. It was a ridiculously surreal moment. Seattle, Denver, LA were just brutal to each other

  13. Behind Beast Quake, this is my favorite memory of watching Seahawks Football. I'm just 9 years older than my hometown Seahawks.

  14. Mike Harden ended up in prison and Steve Largent became a HOF WR and congressman. Yeah everything turned out just fine.

  15. The real takeaway is that one hit was dirty and one hit was clean…each coming from a corresponding player/person.
