The Road to Oil Country – Episode 4: We Want the Cup! (Stanley Cup Final) – Part 2

NOTE: This is the second part of the 4th episode of our series, The Road to Oil Country, dedicated to documenting local reactions and highlights of each game per round of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If you need to understand the context a bit further, please watch Part 1, available on our YouTube channel!

Continuing the Stanley Cup Finals on the Edmonton side, we observe and talk to locals and visitors of how they feel with each game’s progression as we either lead up to a potential Oilers win, bringing the cup back to Canada for ages? Or could the Florida Panthers defeat the Edmonton Oilers and possibly win the Stanley Cup for the first time in their NHL franchise’s 31-year long history? We dig deep into the last few games of the Stanley Cup Finals, and see who will finally take the Stanley Cup home and be the champions! #LetsGoOilers #StanleyCupPlayoffs #nhl

  1. A special message from us to the people who helped bring The Road to Oil Country to life this year:

Thank you. Your contributions, from narrations to interviews have helped make this the most important, collaborative NoTi project ever. We've enjoyed sharing quality time with the people we have interacted, making new friends with some and keeping in touch, and talking about the progression of each Oilers game from start to finish, this year was just an attempt for us to bring the Stanley Cup back to Canada, the real place where hockey started, even if it's a different region's team. The production has filled our hearts and social lives, and we can't wait to do another one next year. Thank you, from the people who brought it to life to the viewer who is just watching it, for being part of the story and for being the REAL storytellers for the documentary. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we had fun bringing it to life.
