  1. I was only able to watch some of the 1st half. From what I saw,VT was out coached early in the game. Of course,Vandy had several new coaches and new players and threw things at VT that they were not prepared for. That should not be the case this week. VT needs to come out this week and dominate Marshall. If that does not happen, then there will be reason for concern for the rest of the season.

  2. Losing to the #2 BC team at home remains my worst experience as a Hokie fan… Still made it to an empty ToTs after that one, and it was the worst I'd ever seen it. That was brutal. ECU in ~2008 on Labor Day weekend in Charlotte was tough too. This one would be below those… For me anyway. But then again, I was at those 2 games and not this one.

  3. Unfortunately, coaching was the biggest issue in the game, but prep, game plan and in game adjustments. Felt like Boise St. or JMU to me.

  4. You guys need a DB guy to look at Mansoor technique vs Strong. He plays it different (and wrong IMO) in press man. Multiple technique issues from jams (or lack of) to hips to eye discipline or hands .. just not good. Get coach to look at it, he will see if he isolates them both as they are playing completely different.

  5. Pavia can ball, no doubt, but I see him getting killed playing SEC defenses week in/week out. If he can hold, I agree that he'll carry them to a few more unexpected wins.

  6. Tech has to come out and completely dominate marshall this wk if they wanna restore hokienations faith in this team, if it's close and tech struggles it's gonna get ugly.

  7. Tech clearly was outcoached the whole game, to me that's inexcusable. I though not only did vandy beat us, our coaches helped them do it.

  8. I was there saturday also, and I am just nodding my head listening to you boys, you are hitting all the lowlights spot on. Very rough day that was thankfully salvaged by being in Nashville which was a great time. Getting chirped by Vandy kids had me rolling, they wouldn't have done anything

  9. We got in section Q about 10:10 am. No problem…. Vandu students are really sophisticated. They clearly know and use the "F" word.

  10. I live in Nashville and I have never had so many reach out to me at church and say "hello" . Proud Hokie ate a lot of crow.
