  2. That was a heartwarming vigil I just watched. I've been a Flames fan for 38 years. I enjoyed watching Johnny play his game. He was a great ambassador and team player. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gaudreau family during this dark time. I truly hope you find comfort in one another in the coming dark days. May you RIP Johnny(Mr. Hockey) Matthew. You will both be greatly missed. May you fly high with the angels. Joyce from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

  7. I've been looking for an old Gaudreau Flames jersey everywhere, and there's no trace. I'll forever be kicking myself that I never bought anything with his name on it. Even after he joined Columbus, he was still such an awesome player to watch, and an even better human off the ice. RIP Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau

  8. Johnny was more than an incredible hockey player; he was an even better brother, son, father, husband, friend, and mentor. While his family knew him in ways we could only dream of, we glimpsed his true spirit through his passion for life, his love for family, and his undeniable dedication to hockey. His first NHL goal was just the beginning—a moment that sparked a deep connection between him and this city. Johnny’s legacy goes far beyond the ice. To us, he’ll always be Johnny Hockey—fierce, kind, and unforgettable.

  9. What’s the name of the song played at the beginning before they went live? Beautiful tune. Really hit me in the feels. Rip Johnny and Matty
