I don't mind JShultz or TBarrie on PTOs at all. Either of them on a 2-way contract at under a million means that you could always send then down to free up a spot or cap space. I'm not so high on DeAngelo though, as you can only take so many shots at the 2nd-chance saloon before it backfires. That said, the Oilers management should have more info to make that call.
Tinordi and Dermott don't really move the needle, so I'd rather the team give some of the prospects and vets down in Bakersfield a longer look. Guys like Dineen, Gleason, Hoefenmayer, Kemp, Wanner and Akey.

Right shot D-man equivalent to Mattias Ekholm. Add a good puck moving D-man too. Easy to say, but maybe not so easy to do. Back end still weak. Won't win a Cup without adding to this group. Sorry to beat on it, but you could also say that about the GM. Is he capable of making a trade like Ken Holland did to get Mattias Ekholm? That's exactly the type of player we need to add to our defense. Time will tell.
