They only won half their games in black and red last season and got their ass handed to them in December against Columbus. The season before their schedule with the goat heads were against bottom feeders or teams coming in struggling. The goat heads are overrated.

Peyton Krebs should be traded. Simply no room. Won’t get much for him but whatever.
The balls on this kid if he’s trying to hold out. Dudes never won a single fight, he’s one of the slowest skaters we have and his production compared to the rest of the roster is weak. Dude just had a kid too, he should be lucky he’s not in Rochester.
Trade him and greenway

Krebs doesn't turn 24 until January. I would pay him the 2 or 3 years of his remaining RFA status at around $1.8 million, one-way, promising him half his time in the NHL but emphasizing the other half will be in Rochester, until he proves his NHL game. And that a lot of his time will be on the wing. He seems to have a good work ethic and has learned the 2-way game well. Scoring, shooting and playmaking skills are there but need to be unlocked. This is not the time to give up on the kid.
And krebs' leverage is exactly what?
I agree with point of view that no matter what jersey you wear you should win games, but numbers don’t lie. I think the black and red just taps into an energy that gets the fans in the building and helps the players perform better. No matter what I hope Ruff gets the team where it should be, 100+ point team.
Maybe sign Krebs to a 2 yr – 3 million dollar deal to see if he can blossom like Tage & Mitts.
If not, trade him to Philly for a draft pick.
So maybe Adams doesnt want Krebs is the reason he hasnt signed him yet and nobody wants him in a trade, as at best Krebs is a spare forward on this roster and most other teams too. I think Adams wants to see Kulich or Rosen on the 3rd line with Macleod and either Benson. Either one of them would EASILY offer more speed and offence than both Krebs and Greenway. So if Krebs doesnt sign, Greenway becomes the spare forward and they can carry 8 D men and 2 goalies.

Brief reminder that Okposo won the cup after leaving Buffalo, and thus gave Krebs a chance to shine. Nothing to show for it.
Black and red is exciting because it isn't an every day thing, Sabres will always be Blue and Gold in my mind.
