  1. Legendary list.
Blake is a Jarvis style player that can be sneaky good on both ends and plays fearless even at his size.

  2. I lowkey think Hutson wins it if Matheson steps down or just gets injured. Dude hes probably gonna get PP1 minutes with Laine Caufield Slafkovsky Suzuki. All of those guys can score 30+. Not to mention Hutson is only getting better every NHL game he plays. He already had 2 points in 2 games. And hes also i believe 20 already. Which makes a big difference if he was like 18. If hes a healthy player. I see him having a similar season to Brock Faber last year.

  3. It's like your viewers aren't even listening and think you just said the guys above Celebrini are straight-up better players. Is Gauthier a better prospect? No. Does he have a better shot at the Calder. Most likely, yes.

  4. I’m surprised Shane Wright isn’t in your top 15…he’ll be middle 6 for Seattle and I could see him with 35-45 points which should have him in the top 15

  5. You are talking a lot about guys with opportunity. My Dark Horse is Kovalenko on Colorado who will be in the top 6 right off the hop, unless something really unexpected happens.

  6. It's between 3 players for me Stankoven, Celebrini, and Edvinsson. Honorable mentions for me would be Hutson, Gauthier, and Will Smith. Stankoven will likely need an injury in the Stars top 6 to get a bump up the lineup but even on the 3rd line he definitely has the skill to put up pts even with limited minutes. Celebrini pretty obvious he'll have the key and be put in all the best offensive opportunities as well as maybe bringing some decent advanced analytics defensively on another bad Sharks team. Edvinsson simply because if the Red Wings are to take the next step which a lot of people think they will (I dont) Edvinsson will have to be a very solid top 4 dmab probably top pair and that will obviously get him votes and attention. Red Wings would have to make playoffs for Edvinsson to be a finalist

  7. I think you're way too high on Michkov for a couple reasons. I get hes a great shooter and offensive player but Tortorella is the coach and only playing offense isnt going to fly with him so there will be a lot of adjustments needed to his game for Torts to give him top minutes. The other reason is that the KHL is inflating a lot of pkayers numbers recently with how bad the quality of players has gotten over there slowly since the beginning of the wae the quality of the players in the league has continued to decrease each season and is inflating these young players numbers compared to when Kucherov, Ovi, Tarasenko, and Kaprizov were playing in the KHL at simialr ages. Still think Michkov is good but I think we will see a Jack Hughes development for him where he struggles a year ir 2 and then really bursts onto the scene

  8. I will NEVER understand why the Habs chose reinbacher over Michkov, please dont try to explain it to me either, drafting for position NEVER works. We will see in the future, where Michkov is, and where reinbacher is.

  9. My top 5 candidates:
    1. Michkov
    2. Stankhoven
    3. Celebrini
    4. Wallstedt
    5. Lane Hutson

But this doesn't necessarily correlate to who will have the best overall career.

  10. It's worth noting that Daily Faceoff doesn't really update their lines in the offseason. They essentially just toss incoming players into slots that free up even if those are unlikely positions. The only lines they have that I'd vouch for from them during the offseason are CBJ (they have Johnny Gaudreau in every slot for every position).

  11. Call me a bone head leaf fan but if Cowan can make the team he’d be playing on a line with Nylander and Tavares

  12. Having guys like Doan, Nadeau, Blake, McGroaty above Smith is an absolute joke, Celebrini at 5 is a horrendous take as well. Such a joke, worst hockey list ive seen in ages

  13. Solid list. I do think Smith should have been in the top ten though. Hard to argue with the top five. A lot of skilled young players coming up. As a Ducks fan I have to say I would love to see Cutter win over Michkov if only to see the sour faces on the Philly "fans" who were sending him death threats and talking about throwing batteries at him, I know those aren't the majority of Philly fans, but they are the ones that make the team look bad.

  14. Thise guys ober celebrini because even though hes amazing, sharks situation is not built enough for celebrini to like bedard, nor the same talent. He is still amazing
