Will Sam Steel and Colin Blackwell be a new dynamic duo on the Dallas Stars 4th line??

With the season just a little over a month away, we begin our season previews for the Dallas Stars. Today we take a look at two key fixtures on the fourth line, Sam Steel and Colin Blackwell. Steel last season established himself as a consistent piece for head coach Pete DeBoer on the penalty kill and bottom six which led to a career high 77 games. With the departures of Craig Smith, Radek Faksa, and Ty Dellandrea, Steel will have an increased role next season. Blackwell is a newcomer in the offseason and has faced his share of injuries recently. Joey believes he could become this years “Sam Steel” for the Dallas Stars and become a very productive player on the fourth line despite a lack of overwhelming offense. In the final segment, Joey shares the headliner for the Dallas Stars Hall of Fame Introduction in October for Brendan Morrow and Jim Lites.
