I am in no way affiliated with SACE but it’s an organization that I have donated to in order to help others in the wake of the Stan Bowman hiring.

  1. I’d give Shattenkirk a PTO and see how he does. I know he’s getting older, but he could be a solid fit if he hasn’t lost too much of a step

  2. I like the PTO idea for Shattenkirk, his career is amazing, but he is getting older and his ability to fit in the team would need to be tested.

  3. Shattenkirk can kick rocks imo had the chance to come once and now he’s all happy joy to come here kinda gross

  4. The NHL and its no trade lists are poisonous to small market cites. Taxpayers often fund arenas for NHL teams only to be told that their city isn't good enough and the repercussions of that go beyond hockey. The NHL has all kinds of contractual rules and its an unlevel playing field when NHL contracts allow no trade clauses to be included. High profile, low tax, or warm climate NHL teams are always going to have an advantage over everybody else. Winnipeg residents, for example, have to be tired of being dragged through the mud by the NHL. Edmonton may be being taken off of no trade lists but for how long?

  5. Austin Hockey I read at the fb that he decline coming to Edmonton. It says Shattenkirk decline the offer or something. I read it today sept. 6/24.
