    Streak breaker, dragon slayer.

    Gotta be Burrows

  2. Goadahell

Trevor Linden scoring the only 2 Canucks goals in game 7 1994 WITH broken ribs. As clutch as it gets.

  3. In this essay, I will make the case for Pavel Bure, who time and time again was the player who performed best on the ice when the chips were down. He dominates almost every postseason stat.

    1. Career playoffs points per game for the Canucks leader? Pavel Bure (for players who have played > 7 games)

    2. Best single playoff run points per game? Pavel Bure in 1994.

    3. Is he clutch? There are two THE GOAL moments in Canucks history, Burrows “slaying the dragon” in 2011 to eliminated the Blackhaws in OT — and Pavel Bure’s 1994 “Brown to Bure” breakaway in double OT to cap off our 3-1 comeback against the Flames.

    4. Can he take over a series? 5 points in the 3 game comeback in 94. Was the most dominant Canuck in every series.

Some players have clutch moments, like Burrows. Some players have a great series, like Kesler. Some players just score a lot — Bure did all three.

If we were to say “which Canuck should I put on the ice to tip this series in my favour?” it’s Bure — weather you’re talking about an overtime, a game, or the full playoffs.

Pavel Bure is the Canucks Mr Playoffs.

Well statistically Ronning has the most game winning goals in Canucks playoff history with 7

I’d have a hard time saying anyone other than Bure. Yeah Burrows and Linden had one amazing moment, but Bure was clutch every time he stepped on the ice. And his post season play was somehow even better than his regular season play.

Throwing Ohlund out there. 19 of his 93 NHL goals were game winners. It felt like whenever he scored, it was a big goal.

  7. I would say Daniel Sedin I think he leads the team in all time GWG if I recall correctly it’s not even close.

Linden easily, broken ribs and all and still scored 2 goals in game 7 of the Stanley cup final. Then away from the Canucks, when Canada was down a goal in the 98 Olympics out that star studded lineup it was Linden who scored the tying goal in the semifinals.

Trevor Linden. We’ve had some great ones but he is the legend.

  10. Raffi Torres on our 2011 cup run. But Linden was more clutch in general.

Bottom Line when the game were there biggest 16 was the guy. Slay the Dragon was massive but I will take the guy tied for 3rd/4th in Game 7 points

    Game 7 points

    Wayne Grezsky 12

    Trevor Linden 12

(and Yes Wayne played 3 fewer Game 7 but it Wayne )

Every big game there was an extra special gear. down and out in game 7 in 1994 Linden drag them back and almost pulled it off

  12. NorthEastofEden

Matt Cooke. He scored quite a few big goals for the team in the late stages of games. Something that you wouldn’t expect out of a middle six player.

  13. Trevor Linden. Beast in game 7s throughout his career 💪

  14. burtonboy1234

If it’s not Trevor Linden, then might as well shut down Reddit

  15. I thought Linden, but then I thought Kesler.. But now I say it has to be JT Miller.

  16. wutwoodjesusdab

Burr, slayed the dragon, snapped the losing streak, OT winner game 2
if i was 10 years older id probably say Trev

  17. Saskatchewack

Its Trevor Linden, but also Kirk McLean was out of his mind in 1994. The 51 saves in game one of the SCF was a masterclass of stealing a game that I have yet to see since.

  18. Hyperocean

Trevor Linden … clutch in the playoffs, clutch in the shootout, and clutch in the community…
