I wonder if the Rangers would sign Lucci to a PTO
On September 17, the Devils will trade Nathan Bastian, Nico Daws, Nolan Foote, Arseni Gritsyuk, and 2025 and 2026 4th-rounders to the Bruins for Jeremy Swayman if the Bruins fail to sign him to a long-term deal.
If Leafs want Robertson, don't offer 800k which is an insult for top 6 player. Promise he will play in top 6.

Leafs would be crazy enough to go 12M x 4 for Marner, but only because the alternative is he walks for nothing. Tavares had an average season, but still had 60 plus points, so it's not like he's a total waste of space. He's comparable in some ways to O'Reilly, so if they offer 5M x 2, I don't see that as unreasonable. Not like the Leafs have a fabulous 2C waiting in the wings to replace him. Swayman wants more money to protect the market for other goalies….guy's a comedian in his spare time…
I've said it before, the Leafs need to start playing hard ball with these entitled young kids. They think they're "Gods", but still gotta hold their daddies hands when negotiating NHL contracts. As far as im concerned, anyone who doesn't want to play for the Leafs, can leave. We don't need guys like that in the organization, period. As far as Marner specifically, if he can't start performing in the playoffs, in what world should he get more money than Willy?! Let him walk and take the 11 mil and sign players who actually go to the net and actually want to be in Toronto. You can't be a perimeter only player in the playoffs, you have to be willing to battle for the puck even if you get a little boo boo. The Leafs screwed themselves the very moment they let these kids start holding them at gun point for the sun, moon, and stars. Look at Vegas, everyone hates them and i didn't like how they treated Flower, but what happened by making these unpopular, tough, cut throat moves? They won a Cup. At the end of the day, it's a business and winning is what matters, not a players feelings.

Matner doeent deserve anything over 10M. Never scored over 100 points and hasn't done anything in the playoffs
The Devils have said the Lucic rumor was "categorically untrue" so doesn't sound like it was anything they considered. The Oilers reporter assumed the Devils we signing him to s PTO because he was seen in NJ, but there was nothing to back it.
Great Video, as usual, Mike. I think that they might have a good chance to win it all (The Stanley Cup), with The New Coach, Craig Berube, at the helm. Happy Retirement to Marc Staal. If memory serves me right, Brother Eric retired earlier this year. Therefore, it only leaves Jordan, in a much diminished role with Carolina, left, of the brothers.
The Bruins screwed up
Comparing Marner to draisatl is ridiculous. His playoff stats are zilch & next to nothing…..The Leafs need to wake up & start paying players according to performance & NOT wish full Thinking on what they might do…. Cap mismanagement can ruin ANY Team.
Get rid of Robertson. He was always a hope and prayer. Only had 1 good season ever. In the minors in his draft year. Sounds like most free agents who have career year before being a free agent. Of course he wants out. Can't play defense on his best day and are now playing for a coach who plays defense 1st. This doesn't benefit him. Just shows he's one dimensional and not worth the hype. He never will be his brother!
Furthermore of course the Leafs have to hype up Robertson for trade value but they real don't want to sign him cause if they do. They don't have cap space for Cowan, Minton and Grebenkin if they make the leafs. Plus the leafs have no draft picks for playoffs. Trade bait, to small!

Devils came out in their statement and basically said lucic has to get permission from the league first but, they said they were interested in him. They didn’t try to deny like they said they were interested in him. I hope he gets permission I mean still plays in this league and he played guilty for felon domestic abuse. The charges are completely dropped he shouldn’t need permission. Like we don’t even know what happened fully lots of people are saying she was drunk as well and it’s irrelevant because the charges are dropped he should be allowed to play
How unfortunate that clowns like NR do not appreciate the privilege of being in the NHL, let alone an original six club! Not to mention "it doesn't just fall out of the sky" you have to earn it, period! What irks me about NR is that he has proved nothing other than he can't stay healthy. In his mind that buys him the right to “grab a spot”, barely the talent to play on a fourth line, so can't ride those coat tails… GET LOST KID, take a roll of tape with three pucks in exchange for this air head. Better still, sit him out for the whole season and let him walk… teach this little pr……………k a lesson. Keep up the great vids TSH rules!
