Do you want Perfetti signed to a short term deal, or long term deal?
I honestly think that Perfetti signs short term. The Jets will probably trade him right after his contract, or they could wait like always
I expect a short term deal and give him a chance to prove himself. He was bouncing around the lines last season. I would love to see him break out. People say he lacks grit. I want to see him prove them wrong!
I think 6.5 Million x 5 years sounds good. But you also got to think about KFC, his contract ends in about the next 2 years
While I'm still somewhat of a fairly new fan to hockey, (+ Fan of the Jets, too!) if what folks were saying that he wasn't given much of a chance to shine, I'd say that he should sign long-term deal. I'm hoping Scott Arniel will allow him that chance to show what he's got, especially if he really likes staying with the Jets. Well, at least from how I'm hearing it? I'm looking forward to seeing how the roster will perform once Hockey's back on the ice again, and ready to fire things up! Especially with the little bite-sized news I've been hearing pop up. Very curious about the new guys working alongside the veterans.
