I remember his final game very well. Because after that loss they put in Pekka Rinne who beat a rebuilding Chicago team 5-3 in his NHL debut. Finley never played again and it’s a shame he never could figure it out, but I always remember thinking Rinne was going to be a stud one day.
It’s no save Finley. Allowed 7 goals in his debut vs Florida.
IIRC Dex wasn’t even supposed to start the game he was in.
