Brian Finley was drafted 6th overall by the Nashville Predators in 1999. He would play just 2 games for the Preds, with 0 starts, and would post a .815 SV% and a 5.62 GAA. He would only play 4 total games in his career before retiring.

Mark Dekanich was drafted 146th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2006. He would make just 1 appearance with Nashville, and the only appearance of his NHL career, with a .880 SV% and a 3.6 GAA.

    I remember his final game very well. Because after that loss they put in Pekka Rinne who beat a rebuilding Chicago team 5-3 in his NHL debut. Finley never played again and it’s a shame he never could figure it out, but I always remember thinking Rinne was going to be a stud one day.

    It’s no save Finley. Allowed 7 goals in his debut vs Florida.
    IIRC Dex wasn’t even supposed to start the game he was in.
