There are a lot of ways to honour a player like Johnny Gaudreau, but here’s one that I like a lot: a memorial trophy between the Flames and the Blue Jackets. Whoever wins the game keeps it until the next one, and they just share it between both teams. The Johnny Hockey Memorial Cup gets played twice a season, once in Columbus and once in Calgary, and instead of being sad every time we think about Gaudreau, teams get the joy of winning the Cup, and they get to honour Johnny by doing what he loved most: playing hockey.

Anything would be great. This sounds like a good idea. There should be many more to remember Johnny by the NHL.
