  1. DAMNED missed the live stream. You sneaky bastards….. can't wait for this season.
Treyliving missed out on Perry last year….. I think his edition gets them by Boston

  2. Irv weinstein was the best. Do you know where your children are? So many good memories of Buffalo in the 70's. Pile into a car 4 guys to a room at the Red Roof Inn at 20 bucks a night. Then off to Uncle Sam's, 747 Club and the Playboy Club for a night of Debauchery on a Scarborough budget.

  3. Leafs ownership has shown its hand. We are back to the pension era. They'll resign Marner to an outrageous contract to appease his fans and this team will never win another Cup.

  4. So good to see you two again . I always respect Mike's opinions . Norm too LOL . Why does nobody talk about Alex Steeves. He's a very solid player who should get a long look at traing camp .

  5. I am not worried about Marner and I view it as a non-story. He’s not motivated to leave here. If management doesn’t like his salary demands after the season, then we can deal with that. My prediction is he will resign after the season. He’s a Toronto kid that can set franchise records and people want to boot him. The real problem with the Leafs in the playoffs is they play elite defensive teams every year. Watch the highlights—Leafs goaltenders give up soft goals nearly every playoff game was the obvious factor in why they come up short every round. Draisaitl had 3 points against FLA in the final. McDavid looked pretty invisible—against FLA as well in most of the games. All of the games that mattered. Edmonton plays garbage goaltending every playoffs and that’s thanks to the playoff format the Leafs have to play some of the best defensive teams with elite level goaltending every playoffs. And fans still can’t figure out why the Leafs have trouble scoring? It’s not easy to score in the playoffs in general—elite defensive teams? Far harder. Toronto doesn’t have a scoring problem. They have a difficult playoff matchup problem with soft goaltending sinking them problem. I feel that they mostly addressed the goaltending this year. Samsonov should have been gone last year. Andersen, Campbell, and Samsonov all gave up deflating soft goals every playoffs it was the biggest factor why they lose every series. The other frustrating factor for the Leafs was the PP, but again… tough defensive teams can shut that down. EDM has no problem scoring at will against bad goaltending and bad teams in the playoffs on the PP. The Leafs are a better team than EDM but get massively worse playoff matchups. The Oilers beat up LA every first round. This is the key difference.

  6. Great to see you two. You by far have the best & most relevant comments on the Leaf’s playoff struggles. The big question this year is – does Matthews burn himself out in the regular season trying to get 70 goals again and then playoff disappoint next spring? 😀

  7. Leafs back soon, Bills back now, and my Victoria Shamrocks are playing Six Nations in the Mann Cup. Life is good. Hope you guys are well, bring it on Leafs! 🍁🏒☘️🥍🦬🏈💙

  8. Hi guys, always love the discussions you have provided. But I'm here to say I'll miss you this year. I've relegated my leafs jersey to the storage bin in the basement. I have applied for an official divorce from this team. 69 years young, I've given up, and see little hope for the future of this team. Sure they'll be entertaining and play well in the useless entity called the regular season. Sure Marner will get his 99 or 105 points, etc. As you so aptly put it Mike, rinse repeat etc. The two foundations needed to win a cup, defence and size, do not exist on this team, and hence the same old results. I won't even watch a snippet of a regular season game, or any hockey for that matter. However, I admit I'll most likely peek into the playoffs and venture into the 'hope' realm for a miracle that comes with every playoff season. So I'll be back in April for some laughs. Have a good season…say hello to Irv (topping tonight's eyewitness news) Weinstein. lol

  9. Confused why you don't trust a goalie who played 25 games in florida but do trust a goalie who has fewer games played and injury problems.
