I created this video to show that I predict that Patrik Laine is going to have the best season of his career so far with the Montreal Canadiens. Everyone who doubts Laine forgets that he is still in his prime and that he has recovered from his shoulder injury that slowed him down this past season. Playing with the skilled players on the Habs is going to bring out the best of Laine. I can’t wait to see Patrik Laine become one of the best goal scorers in the NHL this upcoming 2024-2025 season with the Montreal Canadiens.

His career average is 34G, 31A, 65 P per 82 games. I personally doubt he puts up 85 points, I think 30G 25A 55P floor with a 40G 30A 70P ceiling makes sense (I just don't see how he's gonna get a lot of assists in MTL, who's scoring these goals for him to get assists)?
Laine-Suzuki-Dach, Slaf-Newhook-Caufield, Roy-Evans-Armia, Galagher-Dvorak-Kapanen.

He is 9 mil player without defence. He should make 100pts to match his salary.

I think the PP just took a huge step forward. This guy can rip it. This gives Habs a new look.
He’s got all the tools. His problem seems like it has always been confidence. Going to Montreal and being coached by a motivator in StLouis might make all the difference.
Also I don’t think the pressure of Montreal will be a bad thing, I think rather it will be a positive as the fans are looking for anything to get excited about.
Furthermore playing with a younger group in Montreal will be huge. Instead of being surrounded by vets who tend to put more pressure on you he will be surrounded by younger players who will on the contrary look up to him.

I love the Laine trade, but the best trade in the Montreal Canadiens history is not Laine, not even close… The trade to get 1st overall pick to get Lafleur will always be the best ever!! Although that trade is awesome!
