It’s Lemaire. He was a brilliant defensive coach who helped mold our team culture. He lead the team to their first Cup in team history. When he came back in the late ’00s, he did the unthinkable and helped turned Kovy into a capable two-way player.
The only knock against him is that the defensive system he put in place was so staggeringly effective that we still have to listen to people bitching about it 30 years later.
