David Pastrňák, often called "Pasta," is one of the NHL's brightest stars and a key player for the Boston Bruins. Drafted 25th overall in the 2014 NHL Draft, Pastrňák quickly established himself as an elite goal-scorer and offensive force. Known for his quick release, pinpoint accuracy, and creativity with the puck, he's become one of the league's most dangerous forwards.
During the 2019-2020 season, Pastrňák won the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy, tying with Alexander Ovechkin for the most goals in the NHL with 48. His scoring ability, paired with his playmaking skills, helped lead the Bruins to multiple deep playoff runs. He’s also been a constant presence in All-Star Games and a regular contender for the Hart Trophy as league MVP.
Off the ice, Pastrňák is loved for his charismatic personality and his connection with fans. Despite his personal and professional success, he’s faced adversity, including the tragic loss of his infant son in 2021. His resilience and continued dominance in the league have only added to his legacy as one of the premier players in hockey. Whether scoring dazzling goals or leading his team by example, Pastrňák is undoubtedly a cornerstone of the Bruins' future.
