  1. I feel like I’ve been through therapy listening to this guy. He has a great mindset and I’ve certainly taken lots away from parts 1 and 2

  2. Mike Smith also deserves a shout out for his awesome gear swag over the years! Some beauty set ups!

  3. Good stuff, good job Travis. Question for Matt, if you do end up doing another interview with him. After watching this I can see even more how valuable he will be to have around the young goalies in the Leafs organization at training camp and throughout the season. Although I am really hoping for him to do well this coming season and for seasons to come, after watching this I wonder if he has given any thought to moving into goalie coaching, or coaching sometime down the road when his playing days are behind him. I have a feeling he'd be a really good one.

  4. I sat 6 row directly behind Mike Smith when he scored against the red wings. Awsome to see in person, even against Detroit.

  5. Trav, what an amazing interview. Glad that you are showing another great Canadian goaltender that probably doesn't get the credit that this man deserves. Matt Murray hope you have a great comeback this year (from surgery) . Trav, what an excellent few channels you have turned these into, the videos/ Vlogs have been top shelf (12 pass-ridgn) lol. The videography you have done, about the trains to hotels shows the love/passion, time and detail that you put into every episode are not missed. This is truly inspiring to see you grow and a man and entrepreneur. Keep it going.

  6. Great interview! We as men have to normalize allowing ourselves to compliment another man who we adore/idolize or respect immensely. Whether they are younger than you or older. Give them their flowers while they can still smell them. It was really nice to see you open up to what I can only assume is one of your heros. Big ups my dude!

  7. I want to thank Matt for those two championships he brought to a young man here from Pittsburgh. Things may have not gone the greatest after both personally and professionally for Matt nor I since those days, but we will always have the memory of those two playoff runs. I have a picture on my wall of all the Penguins greats and Matt is up there with them. Thank you for giving an idol of mine a platform so fans like me could see a deeper side of the man between the pipes.
