Looks like this is a move to make sure we have a full end of pre season roster when the main roster goes to Prague. Labanc had some good seasons for the sharks and has fallen off the last few years. Interested to see how he looks with the boys.

Good, I was kind of hoping we’d PTO either him or JVR.

He’s been pretty hot and cold the past few years, but we could use the bottom 6 depth if he can swing a SPC at the end of this

2017 me is losing it what a pull

Labanc had a pretty decent ‘22-‘23 but didn’t do much last year. Of course he played on arguably the worst Sharks team since 1991 last year, too, so that probably didn’t help.

We’re set if we ever need to come back from down 3-0 in game 7

Wonder if he could make the team over Bastian. I have no idea what Lebanc is capable of in a 4th line role though.

Hearing Sharks fans say he’s injury prone and has low off-the-puck compete makes me think he’s probably not gonna stick around. Especially that second part.

Don’t forget that we have a preseason game @PHI the night before we’re supposed to be playing the opener in Prague, so there will have to be an entire second team to play here while the first team is on the plane.

Kid signed a 1 year $1 mil deal years back betting on himself and it really didn’t work out

Washed. Fine for a PTO tho, but if he plays any games for NJ this season, something went horribly wrong.
