Thomas Harley seemingly came out of nowhere last season, finishing just outside the top 20 in scoring by defenceman with 47 points and 15 goals! Harley did so with limited power play time, averaging just 1:14 PPTOI over the course of the season, posting just 9 PPP.
It seems unlikely that the 23-year old matches his goal total from last season after shooting 10.4%, but playing in the top pairing with Miro Heiskanen would ensure exposure to a potent forward line and some big minutes, so I could see him in a similar point range again in 2024-25. Keep an eye on his IPP, which was a career-high at 46.5%; as well as his 10 tEVSH%.
Currently going in the 12th round of early mock drafts, that feels like good value to me; but I wouldnāt be shocked to see his ADP creep up in more experienced draft rooms.
