Yeti is just such a boring name. Outlaws was the only real choice.

Too many minor league (past and present) and amateur teams named Outlaws in all sports. Talk about boring and unoriginal. Utah Yeti rolls off the tongue perfectly.
No marketing. No gimmicks. The ON ICE product is just going to have to speak for itself. Hope they can pull it off!

Here’s my prediction and it’s a bold one but I think the Grizzlies will be sold, moved and rebranded then Ryan Smith will purchase the Grizzlies name logo and branding rights and name the UHC the Grizzlies with the current black, white and mountain blue color scheme. I know it’s not part of the official name ideas on the survey but I think they’ll work it in somehow. It would be perfect because the Grizzlies have such a strong presence in the state for a minor league team
