It’s funny Gio’s come up. I was playing NHL24 lastnight (obviously I have a Leafs dynasty lol), and good old Gio got injured. I contimplated trading him or not, as his time in the league is probably now overdue. Thus, I traded him lol

Get him to league min and i’d be more than happy to bring him back, You can never go wrong with extra dmen. Timmins and or Lilijgren can go for someone else both just making too much. But if you can get Gio for 700k i’d take that over a lot of the marlie options.
I love Gio he's all heart. He will take the pay cut. Also, after he came back in after his dad passed, he came in shooting. I think he woke up and wants to play like he used to a decade ago. And with one of the other comments above, last time Leafs won, they were the oldest team in the league. So let's Go! Move Kampf and Timmins.

Gio is a warrior! And he’s stops a lot of dangerous plays! He is a great passer especially end to end and he’s just a true defender in NHL and Toronto as usual overlooked him and others too! It’s because everyone is so far up Matthews arse it’s hilarious! They’re rewarding him for doing nothing in the playoffs for 8 years!!! And why nobody is getting fired for that Hyman ordeal is beyond me. We would at least made it to the second round if we traded Matthews instead of Hyman and that’s a fact, I bet you Tavares will give his worst year yet because he’s gonna give a big middle finger to Toronto for what they did to him how is Matthews a guy who has anxiety attacks a leader And they call it head injuries a week before playoffs why don’t you guys say something first instead of always following what other people say be a leader you always just jump on the bandwagon specially when they were going after marners head !

This is what I mean.. zero creativity in leafs management. U can’t tell me there was no better options than Giordano and Pacioretty lol they had the whole offseason to figure out what to do. Treliving knows Giordano but that’s no reason to sign someone.. he must have a terrible pro scouting department.. and Shanahan is proving he doesn’t actually care.. all these signings will amount to a whole lotta nothing
Giordano can tell the league if you sign me going through waivers that he won't report and retire.
