This Swayman story needs to die already he's in the city he hasn't said a bad word about the process and yet the sky is falling 🤦♂️. The 10M report was already refuted and the team offer was short term just over 6M and reports were he was actually looking like you said closer to Mac or even lower. If its 7.5M I've been saying that since May 🤦♂️. Best case for Sway is take that $6.2M short term but 2 years that's $12.4M then in 2 years if he is Elite like we all think he signs for $10-$11M so $10.5M. So $10.5 x 8 years that's another $84M. So he could sign $8M x 8 now and make $64M or go with my idea and he makes $96.4M over 10 years and makes even more per year averaged out. If its $7.5M x 8 ill throw a party.
Let's just say the Bruins sign Swayman for 8 years at around $8 million/year.Shesterkin will be signing his extension this year or end of season.If the Rangers give him $10+ million/year,Swayman becomes underpaid after 1 year on an 8 year deal.Don't think he's not aware of that.The Bruins and Bruin fans have been spoiled for so long because key players over the years have taken 'home town discounts' and now they expect everybody to do it.This kid is the future and if they trade him,we will all suffer for it.Everybody crying he's selfish and wanting to trade him probably hated Rask as well…
Trade him for a pick and a prospect to Utah and see how well he plays w/o a defense in front of him. Swayman and his agent are delusional about his value as a goalie.
