  1. Manage throughout the year doesn’t sound good. I trust our doctors but if his own team let him go, signed his replacement at an overpay, and the whole 2 year to 1 year contract thing…this seems so sketchy.

    Either way, let’s go Hakanpaa!

I wanted to be a hockey player like you, then I took a stick to the knee

  3. With some of the best in sports science and medical staff in the league I am going to be woefully optimistic that if there is a team that can manage this injury it will be the leafs

He’s worked hard enough to the point where he earned a contract, so long as he and the team keep an eye on it I don’t see an issue. It’s no different than jelly knees Reaves having to wear knee braces so he can play, IMO.

Whoever uses the term “bone on bone” doesn’t understand that there is a piece of cartilage called a meniscus that prevents “bone on bone”. And if “bone on bone” was the case, his legs would be fucked and he’d be barely standing.

Steve Simmonds is a grade A dumbass who doesn’t know what he’s talking about if this is seriously his rumour.

    ‘ Its ONLY a knee…I have two. ‘

No big deal…walk of the cake for Jani.

Yeah I’m just gonna go ahead and set my expectations low for this and assume he’ll be on LTIR by the end of October.

Dude, check with Reavo, he’s got AMAZING braces!
