- Where do things stand with the captain?
- Will Mika Zibanejad have a bounce-back season?
- Who plays 1RW?
- Can Filip Chytil stay healthy for a full season?
- Is Zac Jones ready for a full-time role?
- Is there any room for surprises?
- How will this core respond to playoff disappointment?

1 – He’s still on the team, hopefully he has a bounceback season. He had some injury issues and made lots of mental mistakes down the stretch and in the playoffs, but has shown his ability to lock it down. Lets hope for more of that and less brain farts
2 – His kid is now a year or a bit older, its a much different task caring for a toddler than it is caring for an infant/newborn. Mika redemption tour begins in a few weeks
3 – Revolving door, maybe Kakko can grow into it. Reilly Smith has been that guy before, hell Jimmy Vesey might get a shot. Mika and Kreider need to get some cookies at Even Strength no matter who is 1RW
4 – Aside from a few playoff games he’s been in recovery mode for almost a year, fingers crossed he can build on his 22/23 season
5 – He looked ready when he was thrust into action last season
6 – I think the Rangers grab Jakob Chychrun at the deadline, Washington improved their team but Charlie Lindgren having an All Star season out of the blue as a 30 year old has a high likelihood of being a one off
7 – Better respond with hellfire and brimstone like Florida did last year. Be like the Rangers of Game 1-7 of the playoffs and less like the Rangers of game 8-16 where there was a lot of headless chicken moments
