At the risk of going against the hive mind: I’m looking forward to picking up an on-ice version since they’ll actually be accessible to consumers

From the reviews over on r/hockeyjerseys, these are going to be awesome. The Pro MiC (Made in Canada) model is being made in the exact same factory as the previous Adidas on ice jerseys, and the Reebok jerseys previous to that, and the two guys who designed them also designed both the Adidas & Reebok jerseys as well. So finally, if you want the exact jersey the guys on the ice are wearing from the exact same Canadian factory, you can finally get it (albeit expensive). The less expensive alternative is the new Fanatics Premium jerseys (2nd tier, under the pro on ice, and will be most popular seller) and they are identical to the Adidas Primegreen jerseys in every way except they don’t have the dimples on the shoulders, and the NHL shield is now holographic. Materials, sizing, and jersey cut/style is exact same as the Adidas retail jerseys (coincidentally both made in Indonesia as well). This isn’t going to be a Fanatics / MLB type situation in the least. I personally like the dimples on my MacKinnon adidas primegreen and probably will wait until the off-season next year when we may be able to get some of the new Fanatics Premium’s on clearance pricing.
