I wish they didn’t have to bring in so many players. I know they usually cut a lot of them after the first couple of pre-season games but if they really want to get things going, they need to have a full lineup or close to it for the last couple of pre-season games. You know which goalies will be in Montreal so that’s ok but the D and forwards are more or less set. Maybe a spot or two open.

Having Carey there is weird and it’s not only for team salary cap either, otherwise there would also add Petry and Allen whom we retained a part of their salaries.
I don’t know how I would feel if we pulled a VGK/TBL move to circumvent LTIR once in the playoffs and brought him back next April 2025.
