New York Rangers have released their 2024-25 season training camp roster where many players will compete for a spot on one of the top teams in the entire NHL. The Rangers have a few young players who are looking to potentially earn a spot during this camp on the NHL lineup for opening night.

There is a BIG difference between NHL players and never-make-it past the AHL players. This team is woefully lacking in depth at center; especially given the soft, third line center, 1st round failure Filip Chytil.
I love the Rangers but they aren't cup contenders. I do believe the Rangers will make the playoffs but get knocked out in the second round. While I didn't like the Goodrow contact, Goodrow was probably one of the best Rangers in the playoffs last year and he was one of the best penalty killing forwards the Rangers had. Losing Goodrow will hurt the Rangers more then people think.
