The 2022 edition of @IronmanNewZealand will be remembered for many reasons. Firstly, it was delayed by 9 months due to Covid lockdowns in New Zealand. Second of all it was Mike Reilly’s last race before retirement (can’t keep a good man down though!).
Also, there was no professional race so the age group athletes had the course all to themselves. .
