The New Jersey Devils are headed to Prague to play the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL Global Series on October 4th and 5th.
Due to the distance of Prague, the travel schedule will have an impact on the NJ Devils Preseason Games.

Devils gotta make some quick decisions with the roster. Will be some tough competition. Any word if Nemecs arm is in a sling too??
Went to France in June. Left here at midnight. Arrived in Paris at 130PM local time. Managed to get about 4-5 hours of sleep on the plane. Rented a car in Paris, and drove to Bayuex with a stop in Rouen. Rouen was where Joan of Arc was burned at the steak. Anyway, Bayuex is about a 3.5 hours from Paris, and an hour and 45 minutes from Rouen. You literally pass Rouen on your way to Bayuex. Got to my hotel around 11PM. I was exhausted. But I thought since I was going to bed so early, that I would not need an alarm…yeah I woke up at 1130AM. Kinda fucked up my schedule by sleeping that long, but my point: DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE JET LAG! Granted I was fine the next day. 1 day is really all you need to acclimate…but on the 1st day, it's a killer. lol
And it's only preseason, too. The games doesn't count.
I like to pay most attention to fringes/non-NHLers in preseason. They’ll play like it’s the playoffs
will jack play sunday against the islanders for first pre season game i got tickets to that
I’m slightly disappointed I won’t see Baby Hughes or Nemec on the ice in Prague. The Devils can make it up if they put MacDermid out to discipline Clifton. 😊
Also, hoping the Devils are staying in the Hilton Praha. It would be awesome to meet some of the players over there.
Maybe we should do a fantasy league or a standing predictions for fun. You going to make a discord?

Ace, There is a very good chance you can see 1 NHLer in those last pre-season games….looking at you Dawson Mercer.
The rookies are also gonna be trying harder in pre-season which is another positive way to think of it.
Curious if we’ll see Sykora, Elias, and Holik at this global series. (I’m sure I’m forgetting some other famous Czech Devils players.) It would be cool if they showed up. Not sure if they still leave here or there though.
@runninwiththedevils I'm just having fun with ya. There really is no 'off season with players today. They stay physically fit year round and can be game shape in a matter of days, anymore. LGD.
