2/3 of our thirst line missing training camp early

  2. This doesn’t sound good for Demko. I hope it’s not bad.

    >Demko will address his injury Thursday.

    That’s ominous

“Demko will address his injury Thursday” …fucking terrified

  5. De_Floppss

This Demko injury shit is getting old *sigh*

  6. julesieee

I’m real tired of the Demko injury arc. Stop it NHL writers, STAHP! 😭

  7. Twinbladey

Might be time to move on from Demko if this is some long term issue.

Anyone else feeling a little doom and gloom? Seems like we’ve been lucky with injuries these past couple of seasons and that’s about to change this year.

Demko probably missing 1-2 months to start the year. Hopefully the boys start like last year and they don’t feel the need to rush Demmer back.

I cannot believe I’m saying this, but this doesn’t worry me at all. We got more prospects in the AHL that can take their place.

  11. heytherefriendman

Does this mean Silovs will be ready?

Demko on Thursday: “I’m injured. that’s all, conference adjourned”

  13. N4ZZY2020

Jeez. Injuries happening before we have started wishing camp.

In my opinion it’s likely a good idea to consider trading demko once he’s healthy again.

    Too injury prone.

Not sure how to take the Demko will address his injury Thursday. If it was long term why even bother having him talk about it? Then again if it’s short term why not have Patrick address it.

Demko thing doesn’t sound ominous at all, I’m not even worried.

    I’m going to go scream into a pillow about….. something……else. Unrelated. ^fuck

  17. Artistic_Bag_7172

Just sell the fucking team already.

  18. couvers

Allvin mentioned “privacy” as a reason for not discussing Demko today so I wonder if we’ll finally get confirmation of an offseason procedure that Demko wants to disclose himself

  20. Something tells me Demko will be seeing a tandem in his future, whether he (or we) likes it or not.

Is Demko going to retire? Why wouldn’t mgt just say what’s going on today? Weird way to announce things

  22. JMoody00

Imagine if we just didn’t react to Demko speculation and waited until there was an announcement giving clarity to the situation?…

It’s hard not to feel trepidation towards this situation but ultimately worrying about something we know almost nothing about is as useful as sitting on your thumb and spinning.

  23. CanuckAddict94

So this pretty much guarantees LTIR?

  24. ImAnAfricanCanuck

I really hope Demko’s injury situation isn’t going to turn out like Pearson’s… I had that thought for the first time today.

    > Demko will address his injury Thursday

Fuck man when we were talking about Demko being ready for the 3rd round I thought it was the 2024 playoffs not the 2025 ones.

  26. Captain_JT_Miller

Why do they lie to us?

If Demko is out long term, just move onto Silovs. And for crying out loud do not trade both of them like we did with Luongo/Schneider.

  27. Looney_forner

I’m actually terrified for demko’s health now

  28. xtothewhy

Well, there’s only a few things to be done here in Canuckland. And that’s to remain positive and hopeful and hoping the team only commits to playing until they’re actually healthy and well rather than play with issues, even if they may not appear immediately problematic.
