This season will be hilarious no matter if he’s good or bad
Option 1: he plays bad or just not up to a $11 mill price point and the blind petey defenders (myself included at times) will have to eat their confidence and place their head in a hole.
Option 2: he plays incredible and the petey haters will either act like they knew he had it in him all along. Or shamefully double down on the hate even while he’s proving them wrong cause they can’t get over themselves.
Petterson has proven he unreliable, unresponsive, hides in playoff hockey. Ha. Ha. Ha
I have to question management as to why they left Michaev on his line for pretty much the whole season.. I even heard if he scored on his point blank shot we could have beaten the Oilers. He was more useless than tits on a bull. Watching that line at times was like chewing on aluminum foil. We were winning and still felt that way.. I was like God he can't score.! It shows that one man can't do it on his own. You need a team effort. Now him playing with 2 competent players I have no doubt he gets back to triple digits.
He's gonna be amazing.
