I’m pleased with the Foligno choice. He is the leader right now.
There will probably be a time for Bedard to wear the “C”, but it’s OK for that to wait. Heck, Bedard might wear the “A” like Kaner did.
I wonder how Seth Jones feels? He stated he wanted the job.
The obvious choice.
I think this makes it clear that Captain Serious has decided to hang up his skates.
Bedard is a modest kid that would rather lead by example than be a vociferous take charge guy.
I dont agree with guving a guy the "C" just because he's your best player, most would day (arguable) that Kane was in some way the better, more visible player than Toews, but was nor even an alternate till later in his career.
