Seeing how easy it is for some fans to watch their favourite team is infuriating. I dream of the day I can subscribe to one service and get all leafs games.

$175 (us) and you get 2 tickets to a game. How much would that cost here? $400?

  2. I just really don’t find it that difficult to pull up the same streaming site and stream the game for free šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

I know your pain, but Utah is trying to build a fan base.

Not giving a penny to these greedy networks.

Sail the high seas on a firestick with vpn and you got full HD games on your television for 95% less cost.

  5. I wonder if this Utah streaming offer is subject to local blackouts. It canā€™t be if this is how theyā€™ve advertised it, right?

Iā€™ve just seen it too many times when they say youā€™ll get all the games (except the ones that are blacked out) and thatā€™s frustrating.

Considering the rights holder in Canada owns the leafs, I really don’t see this happening unless they have to

Nhl tv app gave me every game in the UK. So would that and a vpn do the job? If you don’t mind watching on laptop or phone or tablet.

Hockey isnā€™t the only reason I subscribe to Fibe, but itā€™s one benefit. I grew up not being able to get cable, and still canā€™t, so itā€™s been nice. (Had satellite from 2007 on).

When I was a kid, I had to walk down to my grandparentsā€™ or their neighbourā€™s to watch hockey every other night.

Iā€™ve also subscribed to Prime Video even though I barely use it.

Iā€™m not sure if Iā€™d want this, as itā€™d be an added subscription

I use ESPN plus in the states. Itā€™s like $120 a year. Has basically all the NHL games. Every team. Only exception is when the games are on TNT or NHL network, which i get through my cable package.

I still donā€™t get why they donā€™t just make a revenue sharing arrangement behind the scenes and give us one service

Thereā€™s being greedy and then thereā€™s just being unprofessional

It really sucks when you pay and get blackouts.

This change with Rogerā€™s owning all of MLSE or its NHL rights still split by TSN/Rogers?Ā

I always thought the split was due to Bell owning half the team.Ā

Lucky for me I’m a leaf fan in Manitoba so sportnet + gets me all leaf games and as I watch Wwe I get their weekly shoes and premium stuff with my subscription.

  14. $70 and it includes game tickets. Man, what I would give to live in a market where they actually had to care about getting people out to a game…

IPTV it’s the solution my service is fantastic as I watch all my NFLĀ works great

  16. xtzferocity

Holy shit that service that includes tickets and jazz coverage is a great deal.

What a concept having access to games be easy, affordable and beneficial.

  17. InBetweenPeaks

Dude, free online streaming sites I watch every single game for free.

  18. Battle_Glittering

Meh I live close enough to The Big Toke i don’t experience blackouts…

    Riddle me this,
Why did Arizona just pop over to Utah like no big deal? Like it was a done deal years ago?

Does Quebec City not have an NHL venue just sitting empty waiting for a team?

Like good for fans in Utah Iā€™m happy for them, but get fucked at the same time. Even if itā€™s an east coast west coast ratio deal, Canada gets shrugged off again, šŸ–•

Iā€™ve done zero research and realize I might look stupid here

It just seemed way too convenient that Utah had dibs on the Yotes first

Bettman has grown the game I am thankful for that

But heā€™s become the dictator that wonā€™t step down
Canadian team hasnā€™t won the cup in over 30 years

    God damn joke

Are they kind of operating in a grey area being a new team? Like they don’t have any deals with local networks that they need to work around yet
