Bruins GM sounds off on the media!

OverDrive host Bryan Hayes and TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron react to Bruins GM Don Sweeney sounding off on a comment former NHL player co-host Paul Bissonnette made last month on his Spittin’ Chiclets podcast about RFA Jeremy Swayman.

  1. Sweeney is right to call out these bums.
Places like TSN just pushing “opinion” pieces all the time causing shit. Just look at the tired narrative around Sid leaving that was never happening.

  2. Swayman and Ulmark played Sweeney like a fiddle!!!…BOTH will end up Highly overpaid and sink whatever team they are on. Smart move trading Ulmark before signing Swayman, lmao. As a Leaf fan, I can't help but smile!

  3. This entire network is such a joke. You guys are losing every bit of viewing rights to Rodger’s for a reason. Can’t do anything right like simply post the correct overdrive videos daily, have videos posted with audio or whatever myriad of problems that come with simply trying to watch tsns content. Embarrassing stuff from the network to put it lightly.

  4. Swayman imo is not worth what he’s asking how can he get that kind of money on a first deal what has he proven hasn’t been a starter to date bridge deal and figure it out from there

  5. I am sure the Bruins will get him signed..but Swayman going to arbitration last year was for sure a red flag this could have happened this year..but if they dont get him signed? the Bruins are screwed and will most likely miss the playoffs..Swayman is that important..also Hayes saying that the Bruins other goalies are 'not good' options? the Leafs have not had a serious goalie since Cujo

  6. Swayman allowing the 2-1 goal versus Florida in last season’s playoffs has put a damper on the the perceived price point asking.
That one goal allowed with 1:33 left in the third period hurt bargaining. Swayman had to win that series bottomline. That all said get this deal done. And get on to other things within Bruins team 2024/25. Go Bruins!
