That jersey is the best jersey in the history of sports.

I'm not a Leafs fan and I know that playing William Nyland at center has repeatedly been tried and has failed. I'm sure Leafs fans who feel like they're living the movie "Groundhog Day" are unthrilled by this news.

This is the last contract year for both Oshie and Backstrom. Just a bit of foreshadowing. Osh would look good behind the bench, but his role might be more like Olie's, maybe. At least to start.
My hope is the first goal of helping his back is lifetime focused. He may not want that, but I want it for him.

Oshie is on LTIR Retirement.
Pens have more bottom 6 depth than they need. I hope for Nieto's sake that he recovers!
If you look at the Capitals' record with Oshie for the last 3 seasons and their record without Oshie for the last 3 seasons, you see how he's such an important player for them. His stats aren't that good. But the Capitals are a significantly better team when he is in the lineup.
Tanev did not come in as a free agent. His rights were traded from Dallas to Toronto, then was signed by Toronto.

If the Leafs are going to try Nylander at center again, then they better stick with it this time. Keefe gave up on the idea before the season even started. We'll see how Berube does with it.
Hear me out here. The Leafs should move Marner to Columbus for Kent Johnson + Picks. They repeatedly try this circus carousel at 2C. TRADE FOR ONE. Columbus needs a proven player in their prime right now. Win-Win

Not everyone can play center. If Nylander is at center then is it 3rd line or Tavares to the wing or 3rd line?

Wish oshie the best. I sympathize for him but it’s always going to be difficult at an older age to come back from a major injury like that, especially when there’s no solution. Back injuries are no joke and the back is probably one of the most important parts of the body when skating. His career is probably over.
Gonna miss Backstrom and Oshie…love those guys.

Oshie has been my favorite player for as long as I can remember it’s sad to see this season ending injury.
