there was maybe about 60-70 people waiting outside for autographs, most of the people that were there from the beginning said they haven’t even seen any of the players leave except a couple, kept shuttling about 3-4 people in a bus before they said “that’s the last of them” to the security. everyone starts walking away and when most people are gone, we saw a couple people running back so we ran back. the Sedins were trying to sneak out but like 3 people caught an autograph from henrick before walking away out of the 7 or so people that ran back. i honestly think they either snuck out the back to avoid autographs or just waited until we all left before them leaving.

That’s too bad. I get the guys probably don’t like being hounded. But being in Pentiction it’s possible some of these fan rarely make it down to a game or any autograph sessions held in the lower mainland. Surely they can make an exception for this special event.
They don’t owe anyone autographs otherwise they would be there all day. Yeah it sucks for the kids but they already do alot for fans. Wait outside of the lakeside or mail the player directly at Roger’s arena and they will usually send you back an autograph. Who knows maybe they had meetings after the ice times and didn’t come out until later or they had other obligations, PR or simply wanted to enjoy the rest of the day in penticton. Like i said they don’t owe you an autograph. Just my 2 cents. I’m sure they LOVE the huge line of people wanting autographs after a good skate.
