Quick Nurse story, I was in Ford Hall before an oilers game with my Dad when and a man who looked homeless started talking us. He told us he was just talking to Darnell Nurse and they were hanging out talking for like 20 mins just shooting the breeze lol I didn’t really believe him, seemed like he was just rambling. Then he took out his phone and showed a pic of him and Darnell.. he was wearing the same clothes in the pic that so I could tell it was taken that day. Darnell gave him a pair of tickets and he brought his grandson to the game with him. Darnell is a great guy and he’s loved in Edmonton. I’ll always remember that story when someone mentions him
Let's hope Nurse can put in a full season of playing 100%. Injuries aside he can be a lazy player. I am looking forward to the day when we trade this wasted contract away.
