Bruins Remain Focused at Training Camp Without Swayman

Boston Bruins star goaltender Jeremy Swayman is not at training camp, but it’s full steam ahead for the rest of the roster hopefuls.

The Bruins did sign Kasimir Kaskisuo to a PTO, but all eyes are on Joonas Korpisalo and Brandon Bussi, as well as goalie coach Bob Essensa.

The big storylines are also up front, where a trio of Elias Lindholm, David Pastrnak, and Pavel Zacha looks very good.

Youngsters Matthew Poitras and Fabian Lysell are also looking to prove they’re NHL ready.

All this and more on a Day 2 recap of Boston Bruins training camp.

  1. IF the Bruins HAD to trade Swayman what teams would have players/prospects/picks to get fair value?
IMO, $8 Million (IF that is the B's offer for 8 years) is beyond fair for Swayman (having never won a Vezina, or even started more than 45 regular season games.

  2. Will Swayman help the Bruins NOT choke in the playoffs? If not, I don't really care if they keep or trade him. This negotiation news cycle is a total waste of time.

  3. The Boston Bruins are not a playoff team so stop whining about A NUMBER ONE GOALIE or lack thereof. It MATTERS NOT. The organization is not geared to win a championship for the foreseeable future. Accept it. Enjoy the regular season because points do not matter in the end.
