1.0 – Alexei Zhamnov. I think people forget how quick he was because of slow he became with injuries later in his career.

    2.0 – Fly.

1.0 gotta be the Finnish Flash himself Teemu Selanne

    2.0 Ehlers

Controversy time…to note, I have multiple Ehlers jerseys and he’s my favorite player…but the answer in my data driven opinion is…

    RASMUS KUPARI – [https://edge.nhl.com/en/skater/20232024-regular-8480845](https://edge.nhl.com/en/skater/20232024-regular-8480845)

Sure Ehlers has won the fastest skater competition a few times on the team, but the highest recorded speed on ice during a regulation game, since NHL started tracking the data, is Kuparis **23.95** mph,

Ehlers highest total is listed at **23.44** mph.

I gotta say as a Jets fan who started watching during 17-18, this is an effective way of learning about our past players

I know somebody is probably recording faster speeds than Ehlers technically on occasion, but we all know without a doubt it’s Ehlers.
