David Pastrnak has One Goal This Year
David Pastrnak ended his NHL season with a second-round loss to the Florida Panthers but followed it up with the 2024 IIHF World Championship. He has one goal going into the NHL season: winning the Stanley Cup.
The last time Pastrnak scored a career-high in goals, his centermen were David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron, two-way high IQ guys. Pastrnak has a new linemate in Elias Lindholm, whom he praised after day two of training camp.
I want to ask the question, though. Could David Pastrnak be in for a monster season?

Can Pastrnak break his single season goal record this season?
Last year, Elias Lindholm had 44 points. Will he have more than 44 assists this year, playing with Pasta?
Two summers ago, I heard Pasta give a translated radio interview out of Czechia.
That was a very different interview than he gives to the North American NHL reporters…
Pasta stated in no uncertain terms, that he loves his home country, it's his favorite place to be when asked where he likes to vacation
He stated very firmly- the only reason why he's in North America is for one thing and one thing only… The cup.
He also explain the Barbie glasses thing… He's actually making fun of American culture! Lol! With which I agree!
But he was dead serious when he stated that he didn't come to North America to go to Disney world – he means business!
After that interview? My respect for him as a person, grew immensely.
I'll never forget that last season Cassidy was coach, Pasta lost his son and couldn't buy a goal!
So happy to see he's focused, life seems to be good, he's rebounding.
Not to get into personal issues, losing a child throws us off like no one can explain. The world is crooked, nothing tastes right.
So glad to see he's back!
