I've said it before, if Pacioretty can get back second line form, put the puck in the net, and if the new tandem of Woll and Stolarz get going, and the Leafs' D stays healthy. They might be better then expected. Having said that, the Leafs are probably gonna do the same old thing. But I won't write them off yet, Berube is an interesting variable.
What a goal by Yakemchuk to end the super entertaining preseason game. Pleasantly surprised the Sens were even in this game let alone controlling most of it when it was basically the Belleville Sens against the Leafs roster but good internal competition in Ottawa for those 4th line spots. Jenik looked really good

I know it's only the first game of the pre-season, but the Leafs, with most of their starting roster, lost to the Belleville Senators tonight. It was such a Leafy ending, too.
OEL looks like he is going to struggle defensively for Toronto.
Some people are saying yakemchuk is 19. he is not, he just turned 18 a couple weeks ago, one of the youngest players in this years draft
Patches and Grenbenkin looked great for The Leafs.

Preseason is only "just preseason" when your team doesn't win.
I don't see any scenario on earth where Pacioretty does not sign with Toronto, as long as the money is there and the team is cap compliant. A really good winger woud really, really bring this team together tremendously. Let's just pray that Max is okay with signing a very team friendly contract at 1.25M AAV, or something in that ballpark. He's worth more, i just don't think there any way the Leafs can give him a dime over 2M, unfortunately. It'll be an exciting deveopment, regarldess.
