The Dallas Stars played their first preseason of the game of the season on Saturday night defeating the St. Louis Blues 2-1. Joey shares his takeaways from the game including a standout performance from Lian Bichsel. It’s easy to overreact, but that is a great sign for the Stars moving forward. Watched the first period on my phone. When I left the app and attempted to come back the video would not load.
I liked Bichsel's game. Defensively he was exciting to watch. Stepped up at the blue line rather then backing off. Very aggressive and used his body. Will say he struggled offensively getting the puck down low. Several attempts to dump in the puck and failed to get it down the boards.
When the game started, the app on my Firestick did not show the game at all. While watching on the website on my phone I had to pull the power cable on the Firestick and after it booted back up the game was finally there. When clicking on it i got a black screen, so I watched first 10 minutes on my phone. Then finally I was able to back out of the game and go back in and it all worked as expected. Everything was great from there after a really piss pour start. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen next time

I was at the game and the crowd was awesome! I was so surprised to see so many fans. It felt like a regular season game! This season is going to be so fun.
I started watching the game half way thru the second, and I had no issues whatsoever with it. Thought Victory+ was great!
Bich looked damn good. And man he was just pushing those blues players around like some rag dolls. The dumba Bichel line would have me pumped every game.
Was wondering if you were going to bring up the goal against. An ugly little sequence of events that will not help his cause…
Victory+ looks good so far. The real challenge will be if they get bigger how do you find the content you're looking for? I may be able to watch hockey this year if I don't have to give money to Disney/ABC/ESPN.
I'm out of market so I watch on games ESPN+ but I love all the other content on Victory+
