No joke this happened to me like 7 months ago I was doing bent over rows and then just looked at my bro and went “no fucking way” and just quietly walked oht
I got a sports hernia from trying to peddle uphill too hard on a bicycle years ago. It was the strangest sensation, it felt like I got a flat tire in my groin region. It definitely hurt but more so than pain it felt like the muscles in that regions just stippped working immediately. It took weeks for the pain to subside and more than a year to not experience any pain during off movements. Actually if I’m not careful I’ll still get little twinges of pain if i don’t use proper form when picking something heavy up with my feet far apart.
I’ve had a sports hernia from grades 7-11th, I used to play basketball… I never told anyone because I thought it was embarrassing (I had no clue what it was…) it went away, but man it used to bother me so much
Wait, I dont understand this. People think they got a hernia because it feels like a strained abductor longus muscle? Shouldnt it be the other way around? That people who got a hernia, think they hurt their adductor? Or what has a hernia to do with the adductor longus?
My dad had a really severe umbilical hernia that required surgery, and I'm pretty sure 8 time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath did too. That's the one where it bulges out of your belly button area!
I got inguinal while being bloated of 2x my usual water intake while taking a shit. I was training abs and overall for months then. Fortunately it's "safe". Got it since the pandemic in 2020. It hasn't popped out for months, almost a year. As long as I don't let myself get overly bloated.
Although it kinda hurts sometimes when I turn. Otherwise, whatever. I'm kinda fine. F surgery.
I think I got sports hernia because the symptoms you mentioned are similar. Nothing bulging out but I only felt it twice when I did stairmasters last week and this past Saturday. Now I’ve been feeling it all day today at work 😔 ggs wallet
I had a lump form on my testicle a while ago. It was painless and I feared it was cancer. Doctor Didint know what it was and it went away by itself in a couple weeks. Strangest thing

I lost my wigga to a hernia~🎶
How to prevent?
Do exercise- get injured and body suffers
Don't do exercise- body sucks and body suffers
i feel pain in that exact area when i run, sometimes because i haven’t warmed up properly. do you have any ideas about what it might be?
Yes, operated on BOTH sides for inguinal hernias and 1 appendix. Fun times down there
I finally have a name for my injury. Sports hernia. It took two months to get over it.

Does having strong core muscles help decrease likelihood of inguinal hernia?

So that’s what I have
Had a moving job for a bit, my lead would always say “tuck your hot dogs back in” referring to hernias, he had two terrible ones lmao.
Well I'd never do that weird ass squat in the first place.. so much elaborate dumb shit in the gym
I'm so glad I've never had a hernia. It's always been a fear of mine and so many people I know have had them.
I don’t have insurance, squat university

Looks painful, but does it feel like a core cramp aka Charlie horse? because that would be even more painful
