We have to accept that jerseys are billboards for ad placements. Its unfortunate but c'est la vie. But if they're going to have half a dozen patches on their uniform, at least have some proper placement. Washington needs to fix that. Drop one of the eagle shoulder patches and put the 50th patch as it's replacement.

Anaheim had this issue on their home jerseys throughout last season. Add patch + anniversary patch + captain letter.

At some point theyll cut out the middle man and just name future expansion teams after brands and the team logo will be the brands corporate logo.

Couldn't have arsed this up even more if they tried. It's bad enough having an ad precisely where the anniversary patch should be, but for a betting company – it's an absolute abomination.
Capitalism kills everything it touches. Cost of living, environment, hockey, housing, childcare, groceries. We can’t have anything nice.
At what point will the NHL be taking a financial hit because the annoying ads on jerseys are turning away potential buyers, and the lost revenue on jersey sales outweighs the income made from the ad? The deserved outrage makes me think that gap will be closing very soon, and I hope it does.
You are objectively correct. This is an abomination and so are any ads on the jerseys. Disgusting.

Neil i think the was the first team to have a add on the home jersey then have a completely different add on the road jersey i think the Senators are the second team to have different adds on the jerseys on the home and road . the Fifth patch i know is for one year and only 3 players are going to a crowded Jersey but i am with you it looks out of place next to the A . maybe should have put the Anniversary patch on both shoulders would have made the jerseys that much special for a season they would stand out more . Flyers fan here my home team the Flyers already had their 50 season before the adds what is a good thing but in 10 years will the jerseys look like the jerseys from over seas will all them adds on them
