Why tf did I pay $250 for Sportsnet+

WHY TF ISN’T THIS GAME AVAILABLE TO ME. I paid $250 I should have access to all leafs games. Not to mention who the fuck makes the battle of Ontario not available to watch for people living in Ontario 😑 that is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard of fuck u sportsnet 🖕

Its on TSN4 tonight. TSN broadcasts about half the games this season.

  2. I pay 15 bucks a month for iptv….

Leafs, Steelers, LFC, and UFC. I’ve saved so much money.

  3. GoblinStats

I get them all… In Alberta. Never miss a game. Move to Alberta?

  4. SoupZiegler

    It’s time my friend

  5. I just asked myself this same question. Broadcasting rights need to either be SN or TSN (preferably TSN) not this stupid sharing shit.

  6. Nearby-Swordfish3841

Screw SN I bought it and then realized I need the TSN for the other half of the games. Then both are laggy as hell and I’m getting texts about goals before they happen. Finally broke down and got cable. Even that shit lags…… Fuck Roger’s in general

  7. Letterkenny_Irish

If you live in the GTA and are leafs fan, paying for these subs is the worst ripoff. Even with the sportnet premium package you’ll still get blacked out.

I myself live in Alberta and with the same tier package will have access to all preseason, reg season & playoffs without a hitch, and won’t need to purchase a tsn sub either. Games that tsn has the rights for will come through the SN app as well.

The nhl needs to seriously re-jig how tv rights and regional blocks work. It’s insane.

  8. BlueHotCoconut

Ha! And the user interface is actually even worse than before and it’s always been complete dog shit.

  9. Feeling-King-8104

For approx $15/month, you can get all the games from all the major sports packages (no blackouts) , sports networks, regular cable channels from anywhere in the world, , movies, PPv’s, adult and VOD. It’s absurd to pay $250!

  10. BlueHotCoconut

In all seriousness though, how the fuck is this reality? What an absolute fucking joke. I bought this piece of shit subscr strictly to watch Leafs and I can’t watch because… Why?!?! How do I watch?

Get fucked Rogers you bunch of cock suckers.

  11. alexsharke

I don’t know why you did they still have games on tsn..

  12. FollowingNecessary43

And you won’t get the monday games

  13. jprusso89

    Just canceled sporsnet… stupid..iptv here I come

  14. Just know that they want 289 before tax to resub this year. They get less games and the price just goes up.

  15. moebuttermaker

These packages are meant for out of market fans. If you live in Toronto, they’d rather you have cable.

  16. whall53099

Yeah I got rid of all that shit last season, I sail the seas now. It’s much better, and better quality

  17. clumsyguy

Sadly you need a Sportsnet (don’t need plus) and a TSN subscription to get all the games.

  18. Alwaysdeepinthoughts

    Revolting.
Not to add salt in the wound, but it’s like this entire organization is daring us to stop being loyal. This screams “why wouldn’t they pay when they keep coming back to get hurt”. Typical toxic relationship stuff.

  19. Flatoftheblade

Literally my first experience after paying for Sportsnet+ Premium. Shame on me.

  20. This is one of the only reasons I said ok to shitty bell internet, they offered a fibetv package with tsn and sportsnet for less than subbing to one of them

  21. I’m in Manitoba an I’m somehow included in the regional restriction… What a joke

  22. xtzferocity

That has to be so frustrating. This to me is so short sighted. Watching hockey (sports in general) needs to be easier simple as that

  23. inkandpaperguy

It’s airing on TSN right now. I’m in Toronto.

  24. 1nstantHuman

    It’s on TSN tonight

Edit: it was at this time I realized I made it, I have a pretty good Bell Television package which includes most of the sports channels, movie/crave, HBO, etc.

I guess you could always go to a bar.

  25. leafsbroncos18

Whatever you do DON’T retaliate by throwing ted rogers’ statue into lake ontario, certainly nobody wants to see that happen

  26. PolskiDupek31

The NHL is honestly doing its best to annoy current fans, and make to barrier to entry as difficult as possible to new fans.

Then they wonder why hockey isn’t as popular anymore.

  27. OkGur1319

I’m from Ontario and I’m working in northern Manitoba. Watched the Sunday game on Fibe TV app on my phone, and tonight’s game has a regional block on it. Ready to set sail…

  28. HeyStripesVideos

this is EXACTLY why I chose NOT to pay for this again this year… it is so infuriating!

  29. Loudmouth_Malcontent

I get this for Jets games- I just watch them on my TSN app; that’s our regional broadcaster.

  30. Why are you paying that price at all when Iptv and piracy streaming sites exists

  31. Barking__Pumpkin

For Leaf fans living in Toronto, what is the best option going the “official” (non-piratey) route? Bell TV too pricey but how much is Bell TV app with TSN/Sportsnet? Can’t record games but otherwise good?

Obviously Sportsnet+ is only good if you live outside the zone of your favourite team. Any other options? I don’t watch ANY TV other than Leafs games…other than maybe the first round of the NHL playoffs.

  32. CheesyHobbitses

That’s pretty shit. In Australia, I pay $6AUD a month and get every single NHL game. Sad that it costs you guys in North America so much more money.

  33. leafs4455

Went through that “fuck me” moment last year…lesson learned…. bastards

  34. Lumber_Maker81

I’m having problems with these assholes right now, I cancelled last my premium last May and they are still charging me but for the normal package. Be careful with these pricks

  35. NotFrankZappaToday

Because if they didn’t exist, who would you give your $250 to?

  36. toedragrelease

How do people still not know about blackouts lol

  37. ChungusSpliffs

Fuck sportsnet for being responsible for NHL Live not being available in Canada. Worse product, confusing UI, WAAAYY less games, blackouts, and more expensive. Total garbage

  38. HighBridzz

The leaf games that aren’t viewable on SN will almost always be on TSN+ (wathcing rn). I subscribe to both for this reason. It’s annoying but what ev

  39. I got Sportsnet+ for the start of last season. The game buffered the whole time. Completely unwatchable. I had to put an “alternate” stream on which was somehow better. I cancelled Sportsnet+ the next day. Have TV now bundled with our fibre at a low cost. If they just offered a usable service at a reasonable price, people would buy it. But they can’t.
