Anybody else want to see Talyn Boyko #40 Goalie play in a game? He’s super tall at 6’7”!

Valliquette is 6’6″ and was never very good in the NHL.

And skates add what, four more inches? This dude is essentially a seven foot behemoth.

I don’t want him in goal. Dress him as a skater and tell him that no one on the other team gets to stand in the slot lower than the hashmarks.

SAM: You know what I’d do if I owned a hockey team? I’d hire a sumo wrestler. I’d give him a uniform, transportation,
500 bucks a week to sit in the goal, eat a ham sandwich, and enjoy the game. My team would never get scored on.

JOSH: Your team would get scored on constantly.

SAM: Maybe, but we’d sell a few tickets.

Unfortunately he’s not particularly good with an .888 last year in the ECHL. But goalies are voodoo, possible another couple of years and he turns into something. But highly unlikely he ever turns into an NHL goalie.

Get him on some ‘roids, teach him to play wing, and throw him out there with Rempe!

Tall goalie does not mean good goalie

Ben Bishop might be one of the only tall goalies I remember that was good.

Assuming this is all American people here, look up Drumheller if you’ve never heard of it. Very cool place

I meeeeeaaaan… 6’7″ is just, like slightly above average for an NHL goalie these days lmao

Not in a regular season game, but in a preseason game where the results don’t mean shit it could be cool

Saw him with the Cyclones last year. Super huge but his height gets in the way.

He’s not even our best 6’7″ goalie prospect. Ollas at least had a decent college career while Boyko’s WHL and ECHL numbers are not good at all, especially compared to Garand.
