Thanks guys 30 minutes and all I learned was some guy that's not going to make the team got shorter. Ken said copp is a two-way player. He is barely a one-way player. Gustafson is a good stay-at-home defenseman. Nope and hopefully Johansson makes the team over him. I believe Columbus is under the cap minimum so trade copp and a first rounder for a bag of hockey pucks then give sieder the 11 million / 8 years that he deserves

If Husso is healthy in camp Yzerman will try to trade him. Agree Lyon is the number one goalie going in. If filling your roster with defensive players is so critical to success while do offensive players make the big money?
Lyon started off well but then went from inconsistent to just plain bad by March and April.
If the team had faith in Lyon they wouldn't have signed Talbot AND kept Husso around.
He didn't even get a look last season until mid November when they had no other option.

We lost Ghost, Fabbri, Sprong, Perron and Walman. Basically replaced by Tarasenko, Motte and Gustafson.
We still lack another 1/2C and our top wingers are skilled, but undersized.
Debrincat is streaky and goes missing for long stretches. Hopefully Raymond can continue to get stronger and punch above his weight class. Kane is still great, but for how long? We need some Tkachuk, Bennet types in our top 6.
I believe in Stevie, he’s been my role model for years, but some of his decisions are perplexing. Maybe he’s counting on our prospects. As a Panthers fan too, I’ve watched Bill Zito and what he’s done (look at how he acquired those players, sheer genius moves) and wish Stevie would make some of the same moves. Excited about Edvinsson. Stevie’s done great with him and Seider, but I’m not sure how anyone can make the case that we’re better now than last year.
Under Lalonde i feel like we've punched above our weight against the better teams in our division. If we can do a better job of beating the ones below us it'll be huge, but since there's no bottom feeders there anymore it's just brutal. A lot to ask these days to do well in the Atlantic
Unless our prospects come save the day, I could see the Wings taking a step back this year.
I still say drop Toledo and make Kalamazoo your affiliate in that league 😂. Been waiting years for it. I miss the Minnesota Stars days when Kalamazoo was a machine.
